Tips on Interview Process

One must be having a brief idea of how the whole interview process takes place to face the interview without fear and to get success in it. If you know what the interviewer is looking in you, you should be
able to adjust to the situation and show your capabilities of fulfilling responsibilities assigned to you. Hence having tips on interview process will help one to crack an interview. First and the foremost thing to remember is that you do not have to fake too much about yourself. You are the interview candidate and they are the interviewers and they have seen numerous candidates so can easily differentiate when you try to fake too much. When it comes to HR interviews, there is no particular answer to a question. Nobody wishes to see how textbook perfect you are but the way you will handle the questions fired at you which will indicate how you can manage stuff at office. You can get away faking one or two questions but not all.

When a question is asked and you don’t know the answer then better say you don’t know the answer rather than taking time and try to give some wrong answer. Being frank in those times helps. You might give one or two wrong answer but that need not spoil your interview as you will have ample opportunity to cope it up. But doesn’t mean that you will say ‘I don’t know’ to all question asked and expect to clear an interview. That will not happen. The interviewer will want to see how well a candidate can mix up in the teams and work well in sink. So always portray yourself as a team player and not a self-boasting individual. When asked to introduce yourself speak more about you and not your family. If required then just mention about them but you do not need to give a brief about them. They want to know you not your family.

There will be some tricky questions asked such as whether you want to pursue any further studies. They might praise your skills so much that you can get carried away and say that you have a thought of pursuing higher studies after working for some time. Sure shot your interview is gone. This is how they trick you to spill out the beans from your bag. Even if you have any such intensions of leaving the job after sometime and peruse higher education, you need not say if. Remember that is an interview for a job not an admission in a college. But you still need to show them that you are still interested to learn new things but by pursuing job. So while searching for tips on interview process do not forget to search for interview trick questions. Do not forget researching about the company before you get to it. If you cannot answer well about the company it will only indicate that your homework is not properly done and you are not too keen to get that job.

In these situations once has to understand that positivity has to be affected by practicality for the present age, cause without practicality it is vain to think about being positive without any gains, especially in your career. Tips to Search Quality Candidates

There are many websites and blogs which help a job seeker to find a job. As important it is for a job seeker to find the right job so it is important for the employer also to find quality candidates. There are many criterions which have to be considered before they select the right candidate to fill the open vacancy. If the candidate cannot fulfill his part of work correctly then it might even cause huge loss for the company. Hence the process followed by any employer while hiring candidates must give be fit enough to find a candidate who can fulfill all the duties assigned to them with efficiency. The first and the foremost thing which an employer should look for in any candidate is if they have zeal and desire in the job. May times it happens that a person might not be seriously interested in the work and is only doing for his/ her livelihood or for having a better living. This won’t help the company much as such candidates will not show great interest in new works coming or putting extra effort when needed. The quality of work also might vary. The passion for work matters, as much as the skill set.

To search for a quality candidate one has to put in many rounds for assessing the skills required. For example, if a skill set is required in the IT industry, one has to check the individual’s technical skills, while also checking his English speaking skills and also inter personal skills. If one candidate is taken without any social skills or without him having the passion to work in the field he applied for, it is a loss to the company. An employer should see that the candidate has good confidence levels. This is a very important factor as this shows that the candidate has self-belief. So when any new challenging tasks are assigned to such candidates, you can expect a good result. At the same time one must be careful to see that the candidate shouldn’t be over-confident. Such candidates may have the skill set to do the job required, but this over-confidence leads to misunderstandings with the fellow employees and also proven to deter the performance of the candidate himself.

If one chooses a candidate who has a good skills set, without good confidence levels this may lead to the candidate not scaling up to the mark or not completing a task given. This is because the candidate doesn’t have self-belief in himself / herself to go forward with their decisions. If the employers take care of all these criterions, he/ she are sure to get a candidate who can live up to the expectations. In general any employer goes for a job portal to search for candidates can get many resumes from which they can easily find a good employee or employees according to their needs. Initially the employer has to compare all applications to take good one from it.

If all these qualities are looked for, the company can conduct various rounds of interview to select that candidate that up’s the revenue of the company.

One can always improve one’s skills that are required for the job position given. The technical stuff also can be enhanced by going through various websites online which give tips on the frequently asked questions in an interview. This helps you to improve on the areas which can be tested in an interview. The process of talent assessment of different companies can be easily known by searching in the internet.
